I just bought my first dirtbike, and first 2 stroke. I love it, and it hauls! But, I need a manual, and I would prefer a Clymer, but there is one problem, I can't find a service manual for an 02. I think it goes from 85-01 and 03-05 or something like that, but it skips 02. I wonder why..?

But my question is, if anyone out there has one, could you please help me by telling me where you got it. I would prefer a book, not a CD.

Thanks Guys!!!!

go to the yamaha site and you can get full manuals online. It's like the cd, but it's a start. You can also order the manuals from yamaha.

I have no clue, CSR400EX. How much could they change. I hate how Yamaha has different parts for like: 85-86 87-90 91-93 94-99 00-01 03- 04

jeez, I made those up but thats basically what they are like. How much are you selling it for? It may not be the right one, but it is better than not having one at all...

pretty much all manuals are on yamaha's site. I downloaded mine for the yzf a few weeks ago.

Theyre on Yamaha's website.

You can go there and download the one thats model specific for your '02.:eek2:

Ya, but thats 79 bucks, thats a rip off for a download. Ppsh..

Yes, but using the manual for an '03 might just have you leaving one of those "thingy-ma-jigs" out of your engine...

Hit the ctrl key and then hit the "p" button on your keyboard while holding down the ctrl button.

Adobe reader doesn't let you print even with the ctrl P and the file is too big for word.

Thanks YZRida!

Hey, how can you tell a 02' from a .. say.. 99

The reason I asked is I was looking on good images at stock 02's and their sub frames are (looks to be) aluminum. Then I looked on eBay and 99-01 (I think) where blue.

The guy didn't know much about the bike itself, the guy you gave it to him said it was an 02 bored out to a 170.. ppsshh!
