Parts unlimited chains BLOW. This makes the 2nd one I have broke. The first one was CRACKED in 7 places and BROKE in the 8th. I just got back from riding and guess what, I BROKE ANOTHER. I have always maintained my chains, lubed before every ride and lubed after I wash the quad. I will NEVER buy a parts unlimited chain again. Just thought I'd throw that out there for you guys.

Parts Unlimited Brand??? I didn't know they sold their own brand chain.

Did you replace your sprockets, front and rear, at the same time as the chain?

What brand is the chain? Are you using an o-ring chain?

I would highly suggest Krause Racing Sprockets and chains. Very high end stuff and worth every cent

Always changed sprockets with new chain.

It came in a Parts Unlimited box so im assuming thats the brand.

It's an x-ring.

I would like to take the sidewinder route, but im thinking of just buying 2 new sprockets and a DID x-ring chain. Sidewinder is just too expensive for me right now.

The parts chains are EK x ring chains and have a higher tencil strength than the DID x-ring chains, You may have other isssues if you are breaking them.

I had the same problem with moose chains, I tried the expensive one and the cheaper one and both broke in several spots, many of my friends had the same problem with moose chains
