I have a 2001 Honda 400ex with a 440 kit. It had a NGK DPR8Z in it, went to the hardware store, the book there said it was this other plug so i got it. The plug that was in the bike is about 1 cm longer.

So what one do I use?

Is there a plug difference from the regular 400ex to the 440ex.

I know the owners manual for mine says you can run Denso plugs but I'm not sure what model # they say.

Just wondering why the book would say this one, its about 2-3 teeth longer.

Naw, made by Champion.

I would take this one back and get one from a Honda dealer.

Yeah, Champion is what most hardware stores carry.

I'd be ok running it in my lawn mower or something like that but stick to the tried and true NGK/Denso in your quad, it's of a bit better quality ;)
