I am looking for a hood, but I want a vented one to match my 250r one.

Not to mention, the hoods here and on ebay got for around $100 max and swingers on ebay for around $150-200.

So unless youd like to kick in some cash....Im not really a player in that deal.

Everything I've read says the same thing. A buddy of mine was facing the same thing, so he decided to try something different. He tipped the quad on its side, took a jack hammer with a pointed tip, and started hammering. In les than 5 minutes the bolt moved. Next thing is to take a cheap bolt about 12" long and put it the jackhammer and finish driving the bolt out. Worked like a champ so when I needed to get my frozen bolt out I did the same thing. Worked awesome. Try it. You'll probably find all you'll have to replace is the bolt.
