What Stage Cam???

Bout to but a Hotcam n tha 400, j/w on tha stage that would b best 4 my quad? Mods n sig.

Anyone have problems out of one??

since you have a 440 i would go with a stage 3. i have a stage 1 on my stock motor and the power difference is incredible i love it. the only thing i dont like about it is all the ticking out of the motor. but other than that i love it

igot a 400 with stage 2 and i haven ride it yer in the wood put i love it in the street same problem with the ticking thuoght..

I have the stage 2 in my 440 stroker with no problems. I have no problem hitting the rev limiter but I can feel the power "fall off" just before I hit it. You could get a little more top end power with the stage 3.

they say stage 1and 2 are for stock or moded bikes with big bores and pipes and stage 3 are for strokers. but im not 100% on that. i have a stage 2 in my 440 and the gain wasnt that noticable until i actually raced someone 'my friends yfz450' before i got the cam hed pull on me when i hit 3rd or 4th after the cam hed only pull on me when i toped out in 5th.

yeah stage 3 is for strokers i typed hotcams stage 3 into ebay and found a description.
