The carb that is on my 440ex, I is a Curtis sparks 39 mm FCR. I need to replace the throttle cable, but haven't found one that has a straight threaded adjustment on the carb end. All the ones I have found have the curve at the end like the stock cable. Someone told me that a yzf450 cable would work but I figured I would ask here before buying useless parts.
Thanks

thats a good question, i once wondered it my self, then i realized that the fcr that i have came off an yfz, the YFZ cable had to fit . all i then needed was a honda thumber ,rather cheep on ebay

Just to update:
I finally got to take my throttle cable off. I got a honda 450r cable and thumber off ebay for $13. I just put both the thumber and cable on and works perfect. I did have to cut the two wires that are coming out of the 450r thumber, but in my opinion, the 450r thumber still looks 10x better.:D
