Swingarm options

I've pretty much trashed my stock swingarm, and I was wondering what my options were as far as a replacement. I've been looking at stockers, but I've read that 450r and 250r swingarms will both work. Are there any advantages to running the 250r or 450r swingers? Does it take any modifying to install either of these?

the 450r swingarm will bolt up, but it wont work because the carrier is offset i believe.

the 250r swingarm i think wil work but im not 100% sure on that.

your best bet is to keep an eye out on ebay for used stock ones. thats what i did. but the stockers are known to break, i cracked my original one pretty bad.

i would keep an eye out for a good used houser swinger. but thats just me
