my girls flying up to washington to visit her family next month and then going to winchester bay, I might go up there with them, just wondering if anyone is gonna be there with a modded kfx450R I could check out?

yeah Im not sure if I am going with them either, because if i can work 9 hrs a day those 9 days id be gone, and not buy a plane ticket ill be almost 1500 closer to my 450. but Ill get to ride a 450 if i go...

I just want these guys to see that yeah the YFZ is nice but it aint as bad as they think. they have no respect for anything else. lol

they might secretly but when you bring up anything but yamaha all you hear is crap-talking...

I will have my full race bike there. Were stopping there on the way back from Rd 5 of the WORCS series. Ill be there on the 19-that weekend. I will also have my parts bike there too with the basic bolt ons.

I didnt really think people took the chance of blowing their race bike up at the dunes, but I guess you got the parts bike. lol


Im sure if I had this awesome race bike Id go out to the dunes too though to show some people whats up.

Im pretty sure now i wont be going with them on this trip, I just want my damn 450 now! lol. so I gotta stay home and work.

I put my bike through a lot more racing then i ever could at the dunes. Sorry you cant go!

yeah, Ill miss it, but it will help me get my bike.

if I did go though, Id be stuck on a 660r thats stock except for a DMC pipe. even got the airbox lid on and all. I would get to get on the YFZ now and then, but mostly the raptor, and to be honest, I really do not like them. a 450 is so much more fun in the dunes. I rode a 01 last time and going up dunes Id wanna wheelie up and across em and when I had the yfz it was cake sinc the thing revs right now and the gears are so close its like you have a choice between 2 gears that would work for what you want to do and on the raptor I had none, one was too high but if id drop to the gear below it felt like i was revving the piss out of it. i heard the internal gearing changed in 02 but I dont know for sure. it was alright on a straightaway or just climbing straight, even though the YFZ eats it up hills. when trying to play it is just no fun.

now if I was gonna have a 450r or something the whole week id definately try and find a way! :D
