05 450r rear set up please help

i had just bought a elka 17inch eye to eye mx shock for my 450. i have the stock swing arm and stock link. is there any way i can get the shock to fit with out spending a s*** load of money?? elka makes a link for the 05 stock swinger but they say it would cost $300 just to get it serviced just to fit. please help!!

if you go to the top of one of the forums pages you can click the quote button and Colby will give you a quote on servicing and rebuilding and an aftermarket link. It will probably be cheaper than getting it from elka and you will get a discount for being a site member.
