I just bought my '00 400 EX about 3 weeks ago, I checked the oil shortly after riding (engine warm). The level was good. I went to the sand dunes and rode for about 8 hours (not continusly). The next day I went to service my EX change oil, oil chain ect.... When I checked the oil level, before changing it, with engine cold the level was at the end of the dip stick. The service manual says to warm the engine before checking the oil, I did and the oil level was fine. Is this normal, should the level be low with a cold engine or I'm I burning oil?:confused:
