Randy rode his heart out this past weekend at the Birch Creek AMA National and had to overcome some issues to finish 3rd overall in Pro Am Production!

While he was running a built engine, he was forced to run an almost stock unit to finish the weekend and doing this well against fully built machines say's alot about Randys riding ability!

With little in the way of financial support, Lehr had to switch to the Honda this season and hasn't looked back.

After 3 rounds scored, Randy currently sits atop the points standings in Pro AM Production, and second in pooints in Pro AM Unlimited! Keep your eye on this talented young rider as we will be watching him this season as he does all he can to battle for the class championship!

He deffinately looks fast in the pictures, but wait until you see him in person! His speed and endurance is amazing. Look for him on the podium at all of the National races.

I think they mean stock engine. "While he was running a built engine, he was forced to run an almost stock unit to finish the weekend . . . " Which is still impressive.

I beleive they were refering to the motor when they said nearly stock unit. As in the line before he mentioned a fully built motor. ;) It was his practice bike that he was racing on. Usually fairly mild motors for longevity.

I was talking to Randy a little bit ago, he seemed to be feeling alright about it.. but bummed none the less... I was asking him about leatt braces and he told me his broke when he wrecked.. thats one hell of an impact haha.. But hey Randy we'll have to invent some bubble wrap gear for us, might catch on someday lol.. Not really sure if if would of helped me much when I pegged a tree at the start of the season.. 08 hasn't been the best for a lot of riders :chinese:

lol ehh.. I think a lot of these tracks the jumps are getting a little to hairy at times, specially some of the landings they have out there christ, no room for a little bobble or a mishap no doubt... Good way to use your head though Randy lmao :blah:

If your leatt breaks its due to force to your neck. Under pressure there suppose to break. So i would rather have my leatt break and break my collar bone than have that pressure gone to my neck and who knows what it could of done
