I picked up a set of 400EX front hubs, spindles, and rotors, and am planning on running the 250R brake calipers with the adaptors. It appears that the thickness of the 400EX brake rotors is less than the thickness of the 250R rotors. My question is, does this matter? Is there anything wrong with running the 400EX rotors with the 250R calipers?

You should be fine running them, but if the rotors are out of spec i would replace them.

As far as I know all the honda rotors are the same on 400ex, 450r and 250r. Rotors can get pretty thin so It sounds like they need replacing.

Well, the 400EX rotor has 2.5mm stamped into it, which I'm assuming is the thickness. It doesn't appear to be worn out, or in need of replacing. I don't have a 250R rotor to compare it to right now, so if someone could check their rotors and see if there is a stamping it would be appreciated. I'm sure that they will work just fine as is, I was just wondering if the difference would ever become a problem.
