i'm wondering what size tires i should get. i want to get razrs but i don't know what type or style. the stocks are 22x7-10(front) and 22x10-9(rear) but i don't know what size i should get for aftermarket. i need tires sometime in the near future so i just want to know.

well the ravrs are really good or the itp trac stars but the razrs are flat so u will get more stability

what size though, 20x7-10 and 20x11-9. they are just 20 inch and not 22 inch. is that the only difference, do the last 2 numbers stay the same?

yes the last two numbers in each will be 7x10 and 11x9. Razr's are very nice for the 250. I honestly wouldn't get 20 inch rears though. I put some 20's on mine we had just out of curiosity and it sucked, you top out very quickly and it wasnt fun. I was very glad I bought 22 inch razr's instead of 20's.

yeah, I was gonna say dont get the 20's, even on 22's you top out to quick, and with no sprockets to be able to change, tires are the only way to keep your speed, plus in the trails youll have more clearance.

why would u not want to have accelerationinj a trail u cant go top speed. u guys must ride gravel roads because unless u go roads or dunes top speed is not favored acceleration is. on a track u waqnt acceleration on a trail u want acceleration so ur not stuck.

I wouldn't put 20's on my wife's 250. We just put 22X11X9 Kenda Knarlys to replace the stock 22x10x9's. They really helped get rid of the tippy feeling and they grip a ton on the terrain we ride on. I couldn't have put 20's on and not had clearance issues. She high centered it on a rock this weekend with the 22's. Good thing I put the Pro-Armor skid on! I can't believe the local dealer told me we'd never need skid plates.

yeah I know acceleration is nice for woods/track. but stock jetting, lid on and all they top out pretty quick. if you give it any sort of power youll top out WAY too fast, even on a track I bet youll hit a straight and get blown by when your topped out on 18's or 20's.

and in the trails ive been in, there is still plenty of places to open it up. I took out my girls YFZ a while back and I was pinning 5th gear in some spots. not usually in the trails, but there are access roads from trail to trail, and you might wanna ride somewhere besides tight trails once in a while.
