Has anyone ever had any experience with these a-arms before? Im wanting to widen up my stance a good bit and im looking at the +3+1's. Also when it says +3, does that mean its 3" on each side or total?

i have there long travel design on my 450..Quality in the metal work is great along with the hiems..Downside is that the finish on them is junk, like a spray can job, prone to chipping, and there long travel design made Derisi almost pull his hair out revalving my front shocks for them..They add too much leverage to the shocks, making them very soft in stock, or normal valving for rider weight..Mine are valved typicly for a 250lb. rider and I only weigh 180 at best..But ride fine now with 3 trips back..

I had a set of their +2+1's on my 88R. They were the older style that used bushing at the pivot instead of the hiem joints. They fit good & seemed to be decently built. The +3's will widen your quad 6 inches total.

thanks a lot for the info. I believe they will do just fine for the riding im going to be doing. Im not going to do any racing with it, more or less recreational and a good bit of jumping. As for the finish, im getting them recoated gloss black to match the frame and swingarm so its not a problem with that.

What would yall recommend me getting my shocks valved at? I weigh 185 and im going with brand new Elka shocks. Im just trying to get an idea of what to tell them to valve them at
