Kickstarter question

Is there supposed to be a washers on either side of the kickstarter collar?

I'm trying to picture where two washers could even go. And I can't. So I don't think there are any but I'm not 100% on exactly where you're referring to. So check an on-line parts schematic to confirm. There's a bunch of them--BikeBandit or Service Honda comes to mind.

My service manual shows one one both sides of that collar that slips over your kickstart spindle but I have two motors and neither one of them had any washers there. So I didn't know if they even existed. Thanks for the help.

I believe they do inside the kicker cover..more of a thrust washer though.
