Jordan,

You went ahead and took the white one? Now I know why you didn't go to Birch Creek this weekend...you knew it was gonna rain and didn't want to get it muddy. :p

I was up in the air when I got my 450r. I didn't want to wait longer to get the Suzuki plus I got burned bad on buying the 2001 Raptor so it was hard for me to buy another first year product.

My work project is going slower than expected...coupled with the forecast, tomorrow isn't looking good for me to make it to watch the pros.

Congrats on the new bike...of course Dan isn't going to let you back into Breezewood on that. lol.

the suzuki is awsome! i love it. I only got to ride it for 5 or so minutes today because of neighbors, but tomorrow im taking itto a buddies to break it in and ride some. As of right now, i love it! Yes my honda was more powerfull(built engine) but right now, the stock 08, is fast! Pulls hard, and corners awsome! I can tell the brakes on my honda were a little bit better, but its hard to tell alot only in 5minutes! I will let everyone know how it goes after tomorrow.

Well after a bout 2hrs on the quad today here is what i have to say... I took the baffel out, lid off, and had the cherry bomb on there and wow! What a difference! I was very impressed with it stock, but with the cherry bomb, crazy difference! Went to a friends track and rode. The first think i noticed is throttle response, it is so crisp and smooth, but pulls really hard. Only thing that slowed me down some was the bump steer. It seems to have that alot, but it just takes a while to get use to. Makes you work harder.... Suspension was good, soaked up everything, felt smoother than the honda. I could throw around the suzuki everywhere, real easy, easier than my honda, but i never brake tapped it, cuz with stock pegs n no nerfs, its not the safest thing, even with full gear, so i didnt mess with that. But other than that i rate this LTR a full 10 out of 10! Can't wait to get the other one to mod that one out!

Sometimes, people just have to learn from their mistakes and going from Red to Suzuki, is going to be one of them. Ha!Ha!

If a stock LT-R with those few mods felt just as good or better than his full LT honda with a built motor, then thats not saying much for the Honda, and thats saying ALOT for the zuki.

Gonna be hard to sell that high priced Honda with those statements Jordan. :D

Honda must have better riders then...3 out 4 and 4 out of 8 in the pro ranks this past weekend. You would think modded LT-Rs would walk all over modded 450Rs then if a nearly stock LT-R can. :muscle: LOL.

IDK how people can say this. I spent a week on an 07 LTR with stock rebuilds all around, flexx bars, full yosh, and a CBM and It wouldnt touch my Honda. My honda was much smoother maybe because it fits me better. But then again I would never buy a zuki... hehe.

Ive riden a 450r and an LT-R...personally the LT-R fit me better, so I can see how Pepper might be more confortable on it. If it fits him better, then he will be.

I say congrats on getting 2 new rides.

I'll be lucky to afford my suspension by the end of the summer...haha! I hope I can find a good deal on some used LT stuff for a 400ex... :blah:

It does come down to preference and what someone feels comfortable on but if a virtually stock LTR out performs a fully modded 450r, that's not saying much about the engine builder, not the quad itself.

didn't say it out preforms my honda, but, for a stock quad, this thing is awsome! Yes my honda had more power, and handled better(how it is now), but i guess the throttle response on the suzuki is just better and its just more crisp(which i prefer) but the handling compared to my honda is nothing. Honda deffinately handles better and is easier to ride than the suzuki, but thats after putting a couple grand into the front end.
