250x 300ex to 400ex set up???

i sold a 250x about a year ago and now the fella needs new ball joints. i told him about the 400ex conversion....but he wanted to know what would work.

can you use 400ex a arms with the stock shocks? he does NO jumping and just putts on the trails...drags out the occasional deer etc.


any tips on the best set up?

The stock 250x shocks will work with the 400ex arms but they will be a little on the soft side. For putting around and hauling deer they should be ok.

as long as hes not hoping to go over anything on the trail he should be fine. When the stockers are on it will be about level to the ground.
