Help with cr500 conversion shock

I am finishing off my cr500 conversion on my 250r, 88 frame. It's a Walsh swingarm and linkage conversion kit.

I need some help deciding on what rear shock to buy / have built. I am going to be running Evols up front and want something to match look wise, <-I know it sounds a but gay but what ever. I guess can always get a shock cover.

Performance will be the biggest issue also how log it will take to build. I want to ride it this year. I also would like something with a decent amount of squat, zps/srs.

-Baldwin can build a pep in about 4-6 weeks. But it will be $$$
-Elka can also for a good amount cheaper, but with out there srs system.

Haven't had a chance to check around with any other companies yet to see what they offer. So I am just checking sources, you folks.

Can I see pictures of your conversion that your doing ? I was thinking about converting my stock 88 frame for the cr500 link but just decided to find a laeger frame insted.

I will try and get some picts this week the bottom mout is on (tacked) and the top I'm just finishing the measurements. So I will try and get some up.

As for the shocks the few people I talked to, builder recommended getting a shock made for the individual quad. Or I would be missing out.

I might see if they can alter the body, and just rebuild. That might save some money and speed up the build.
