I bought this 89 250R with a blown motor and it need a crank. I was wondering If anyone is running the hot rods stroker cranks and if you make more power with them or should I just go with regular hot rods crank??? Thanks!!

The stroker makes more power but you have to use the correct size spacer plate and I believe you have to have the case machined to increase crankcase volume.

If you decide to go with the stock length, the OEM Crank is the best one. It's stronger.

it also has to re-ported for the stroker motor. I would get a oem 88/89 crank, spacer plate and stud kit from esr, and 85/86 piston matching your bore. Hot Rod cranks are hit and miss, alot of people will tell you this.

I haven't had any problems with my 4mm crank from hotrods. If I had to do it over again, I'd just stick with the stock stroke crank. A good port job will outdo a stroked motor with an ok port job.
