I use the synthetic stuff in my 400. Ive considered using the Amsoil in my Dodge Cummins. At 21 bucks a gallon, its too expensive. (truck holds 12 quarts)

from the Holidays! BadBrad, the first oil you showed, the Motorcycle oil, is the one specifically formulated for wet-clutches. For someone who is just leasure riding, the 0w-40 might be the best; it was formulated specifically for the 4-stroke engines.

As for the 15w-40 oil being too expensive; if you strictly look at the initial cost then many times it will be too expensive, however, this oil is formulated for and recommended by Amsoil for 15,000 mile intervals on oil changes ( being conservative, that's 3 times the life on a diesel, if you change every 5,000 ) and they also recommend you change their filter at 7,500 or 6 mths. whichever comes first. Plz feel free to do the math on it, you'll probably find it puts money in your pocket; if you change more often than 5,000 it will put a bunch in your pocket. Amsoil has a Warranty too that covers you !

Feel free to email me if you have further questions.
