faster? Doubt it, but i know it would run right with it. I rode a friends 426 that was bored to a 444, and it was quick. I know the pro's used to take 450 motors and put 440 cylinders on them cuz they rev quicker, so unless your rode them back to back you would never feel/notice a difference i bet.

faster than a YFZ, a stock to mild (pipe, jetted) YFZ, id hope with the big bore and the right rider. my stock 426 motor has no problem keeping up with stock to mild YFZ's and i can spank a honda 450 lol. and it will be great for motocross, but some tracks only run production bikes so check on that.

here is me racing a 04 TRX450R with a FMF Factory 4 slip on and jetted, MXR4 tires. i am running a junk muffler (was completely hollow and robbed power big time), wore out Razr's. the video shows me getting a bike on him, since i got a new muffler, re-jetted and new tires, i put him to shame.

we run the hybrid in my signature, we have no trouble running with all the 450 quads out there. my son lined up against 2 yfz's a suzuki and 2 hondas this past weekend, got the holeshot both motos. oh and he is only 14 years old and it was only his 3rd race on the hybrid.

Your yfz converted to mx would be cheaper and better in my opinion

yes and no, the motor will run smooth yeah with the right rider with a good set up you can haul, but like at every race a go to theres always a pimped out quad and the kid on it cant ride it to save him self, so if you can ride really good i think it will be a great quad the 426's a a strong motor and i think you could beat the 450s with the right set up.
