Valve clearance

to set the valve clearance what measurement do we use? the lash?

Check them with the motor cold.

Exhaust valves= .005 inch clearnace
Intake valves= .004 inch clearance

With the motor cold? Really? I guess I better recheck mine as I always did it with motor hot(only did it twice so far). Will it make much difference?

i have a stage 2 hotcam though, thats why im wondering if it is lash that i go by, clearance is differant than stock

You didn't say you had a Hotcam Stage 2 installed.

Intake valve lash: 0.13mm / .005inch
Exhaust valve lash (mm): 0.15 / .006inch
