My stock axle took a poop last weekend. I am putting my durablue 2+2 back on and was wondering what is supposed to hold the sprocket hub in place? It has been 4-5 years since I used this axle. There is a groove about 1/2 inch away from where the hub sits. I assume there is some sort of clip that goes in the groove, but is there anything that goes in the 1/2 inch gap too?

I was going to Loretta's tomorrow but if I can't figure this out I will be sitting at home. Thanks!

I think you got your ends mixed up. The sprocket hub is pressed on and should be already on the axle. The end you're talking about is the brake rotor hub. It's held in place with the rotor nut, axle nut, c-clip and locking device.

I know which end is which. The hub is not pressed on the axle.

I have the same axle... sprocket hub is held in place with a large "c clip" similar to the one on opposite end for locknut. Dura blues misc parts should have it listed, or call 'em.

You also have to use dura blues sprocket hub, a stocker won't work :)
