whats the max octane u can put in a stock motor what about if i put a 10to1 commpression? thanks

You can run pump gas all the way to 11:1 comp, but 89 or 93 is fine with stock motors.

i would run at least 92 if I were you. Honda made a gas requirement of premium for a reason. Their engineers arent stupid

13:1 and up has to have race gas. You are fine on pump gas at 12.5:1. Running 100+ in a motor that dosn't need it is a waist of money.

Where are you getting that info from? Remember, we're talking about an air-cooled 400EX engine, not a 250F dirt bike engine. BIG difference.
