I instaled a parking brake block off and cant get it to stop from leaking around it and i dont know if i should RTV it on or cut a gasket for it out of EDPM. Any help I would appreciate it.

rvt will work in a pinch
does the block off have a groove for the oring seal or was it designed for a gasket?

You might have a leaky seal at the piston (where the brake piston spud comes through the caliper) On most, there is no oil that really should get back there to leak. I would assume the LSR unit uses the stock gasket that was on the parking brake assembly

Were the block off plate bolts up to the caliper there is a leak on top and on on bottom.
So brake fluid leaks out? I have a blockoff plate but I never took it off because it came on the quad.

yeah it leaks out at at a steady pace. It didnt come with any kind of gasket/o-ring and doesnt have a resesed part for the o-ring. Pappy what your saying makes since. Are the calipers rebuildable?

Yes they are, however that seal is a small sucker and a huge PITA!
Check the how to forum for how to disassemble them if needed.
I would suggest ordering a stock gasket and trying that first, or make your own out of the EDPM material. There is little pressure at all on that side even with a seeping seal so a simple gasket should get you going until you can dig into the caliper to see if that seal indeed has gone bad or is damaged etc. I dont see many of them damaged.
so when you take the parking brake off brake fluid comes out?

No, unless it has a bad seal by the sounds of it on staples86's.
