I picked up my new around town bike last night. I love this thing already. Plenty of power, very nimble (not sure why they say 600's are faster in the turns, i feel pretty damn fast on this already), awesome color combo. Back riding red baby.

Very Sharp bike man!!!!!. i had an 02 600RR and miss it all the time. Now im lookin into an XR650 hahah little different but i like the dual purpose idea for when im cruising town and get the itch to go trail riding i dont have to go get my truck and quad lol

Congrats Greg...I think about a street bike every once in awhile but Connie is so against it...being a nurse in a trauma unit, she sees too much. :grr: Oddly enough, she is okay with me racing mx now...even encouraging me...hey wait a minute, she just talked me into a new life insurance policy too. :eek2: Maybe now is the time to get a streetbike. :)

I think Greg means he paid $7,000 for the bike in total to buy it, pay taxes, license fees, etc.

Greg, you still racing XC? That is my next goal...I am just trying to figure out how you ride at speed for 2 hrs. :confused:
