ok so i went out this weekend and rode around for around a hour when my bike just shuts down. pop the hood and find the 30a main blown. put the spare in started right up and went blasting up the next hill. start to come down it blowns again. put another spare in and start heading back home. i get on a long down hill let off the gas and it blows again. so now im relizing that when when im off the gas its blowing my main fuse. put another spare in this time i never let off the gas till i got back home about 5 miles. put up to my garage let off the gas and it blew. has anyone else had this problem ive not found anything on it. it sucks. good thing i got a couple good ole 250 2 strokes in the garage to ride

I'm curious about why this happens. I was just reading on another site about this exact issue happening to someone else.

Check all your wiring especially over top of the radiator, theres a rubbed wire thats shorting out somewhere guaranteed

that should deffinatley be covered by warranty. especially if its stock and youve only had it so long.

i think its the tail light that caused the fuse to blow because while riding the rubber thats around the bolts that keeps it in place stripped. Guess ill find out today.

i had this problem alot ridin in the sand pits and in rolling hills. i took my taillight completely off and my headlights for racing and since i have about 100 hours on the machine and no problem with it. so whether it is the lights or somethin else that just hasnt seemed to short since then hope that helps

fixed it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
finally got around to looking at it and i put a new fuse in it and let it idle while i went over some wires. found my rear taillight harness rub through were i ziped tied it to my grab bar. broke it off a year agowhen i flipped it. my rear brake light switch sticks alot so that why it was blowing without hitting the brakes. kinda didnt even think about it. well im happy now
