suzuki 250r?

anyone ever ridden a suzuki lt250r? i might get a good deal on a 86 and it looks pretty good. im thinking i can buy it and sell it to turn a small profit, but i really like 2 strokes and im afraid i will end up wanting to keep it. the only way this is possible (thanks to my wife) is if i sell the ex :( . i doubt that will ever happen but i was just wondering if anyone had anything good or bad to say about them. since i do mostly trail riding i know it wouldnt be a good fit for me, but they seem to hold their value pretty well so maybe i can make a buck or two? or would it be a waste of my time and money

lt250r 1986 is a slow year..buy an 87 and up...

i like mine. its lower and longer than my ex. but i like the ex because can just jump on and go, the 2-stroke is a bit more up keep.

what year is yours? is there anything major i need to look for when going to look at it? like common flaws or problems
