Use some vice grips, and maybe some heat. I would not use a worn head like that. My rocker arms wore out and caused my bike to jump time. If you need a new valve cover I have one. Rockers are worn out but it will come apart without stripping. I can remove old rockers for you.

Hope this helps

If the rockers are worn...Very likely, I am not real sure on a worn cam but I would think if the cam is worn it won't push the rockers right causing valve issues but I am not a genuis on this so someone else will have to chime in on that. I know for a fact that worn rockers will jump time, been there done that headache.

when i bought mine, i knew it needed some top end work, it ran but cut out a lot, when i took it apart, one rocker arm was real worn, and so was the cam. thought these engines were supposed to be reliable?!?!? think im putting it together with a used stock cam, and new rocker arms

these engines are very reliable but they still have to be maintained.

it feels like the cam bearings take most the load, so im not too worried about the cam lobes. how to i adjust the valves?

Top of window click "Articles," it's right next to Forums. Go to "DIY Valve Adjustment. " Great article
