440 EX Questions

I have a 1999 Honda 440EX Hot Cam Stage 2, Running 120 Octane. I have a few basic questions for yall.

#1 I need to know what the valve adjustments for the exhaust and intake are?

#2 What should the spark plug be gapped to?



Gonna get it finished up tomorrow and these are the last few things I have to do. I just replaced the rockers, Timing Chain, Tensioner, Guides, and a few other things. My old rockers were very worn down and it cause it to jump time. Thanks in advance for all help.

Spark plug--Use a DPR9Z gapped to .024-.028

Valves--.005 intake .006 Exhaust.

12.5:1 Stage 2 Hotcam, Lectron Carb

Is that a new or old hot cam? The older ones have more clearance.

No they dont. They are the same, ive had both.

Nope they are not the same. I have had both and here are the spec cards

Thats weird. My cards both have the same, .13mm and .15mm. Maybe they changed it up at some point. My cards read the same as yours except for that.
