Ok, instead of going out and buying a long travel set-up for at least a grand, I found an alternative. Its called Diamond-J Customs widening kit. It looks pretty sweet and for the price you cant beat it. If you guys can let me in on what you think id appreciate it. And if you guys find any reviews id love to hear 'em. thanks!

i have a kit on my 300ex and i love it, but you're going to hear alot of people talk crap about the kit when they do ask them if they every had them or rode a quad with one on it, because i haven't find anyone who has them on a quad that does like them

Cool. Thanks for the pics. Oh, and does the kit sort of give you a long travel set-up, or is the travel still the same?? Whats the difference in the ride? Yea, ive heard pretty much all good about them. Some moron posted this somewhere else,

"From people that don't have them - 98% hate them
From people that do have them - 98% love them."

Well, good thing im going to listen to the people who dont have them or have never used them...lol.. I dont see the point of even posting that. But it also says that the people that do have them love them, so they seem pretty good to me. Any more ideas or thoughts please, let me know!

Great. Thanks for that. I am thinking about getting the 6'' set-up so it should work great. Also, the stockers will work with the 6'' fine?? and did they do a good job with giving you everything you needed? thanks for the help.

im sure they would save you alot of money on buying those. but don't you think there is a reason all the big name aftermarket companys don't make them? the diomand j 400ex shock adapter is a great product. for the price you really cant beat bolting up 400ex a arms and shocks with the adapter. using those a arms spacers throws the geometry of the shocks off aswell.

Like stated above there is a reason the big names dont make a kit like that. I would go with 400ex a-arms n shocks, thats what i have and i couldnt have asked for a better ride at such a good deal.

I'm pretty sure it would just be cheaper to buy 400ex a-arms which would be stronger than that and make it wider. Then use 400ex or 450r shocks or something. You can buy BRAND NEW OEM 400ex a-arms for $235. Thats right out of the factory like i was going be be put on a 400ex in the factory. And if you wanted you could get used which would be even cheaper about $100 for them.

I paid $75 for brand new 04 450R shocks, and $80 for used 400ex a arms, got the tie rods and ends with a arms. Loved it on my 300. Then after i got my 450R i put the 450R shocks that were on my 300 onto my dad's 400 and now have 400ex shock on the ol' 300ex.

I checked into these kits as well. I decided against it, not knockin em I just think there are better ways for the same cost or cheaper.

Well, i posted this same thread somewhere else and I got nothing but bad news about them. Then right after I got offered a pair of 400ex a-arms for 40 bucks, so im gunna go with the 400 a-arms and shocks. thanks for the info. guys.
