heres my problem.
I have just purchased a 450 and it has ac racing nerf bars. these are obviously the nerfs that do not have heel guards. other company's sell heel guards. will any of them bolt up to my ac's?

Buying the IMS Heelguards would be your best bet.

I would think any brand would work. Worse case is you have to drill a new hole or 2 in the heal guards for them to line up with the IMS pegs. The IMS bolt pattern is pretty standard.

I would think that almost any heel guard would bolt up, like everyone's saying, the bolt pattern is pretty standard.
However, since there's already IMS pegs on the quad, I would say your best bet is to get IMS heel guards. They're high quality, but are a bit pricey.

stay away from anything tusk. i have the nerfs on my yfz and they are pretty much made of tin foil. they're all mangled and trashed. the heel guards welds would probably just crack after a few rides...

I would make sure you buy something that is confirmed will work. Some time things are just a little bit off and can be a nightmare to deal with.

my friends got REM nerfs on his quad and they seem really nice.. so i would think they make a good heel guard too

i wouldnt say stay away from all tusk products, i have their brake pads and they are a excellent product, i wouldnt buy the nerfs tho, but i wouldnt be afraid of buying other products.

I bought a Tusk brake rotor from rockymountain and it came warped.
Still squeaks when I ride -_-
And all the vent holes on it are lined up, not scattered like the stock one so the dirt makes groves in line with the vent wholes.

Guna buy a solid rotor next.

And my gforce (tusk) axle bent on both ends. Was a different shape after every ride pretty much once it started bending.

And ya the nerfs are tin foil, u can stand on them and pop em off.
