Hey im interested in purchasing this for my 400ex. I will be riding MX and was wondering how good it would be. Landing jumps and the whoops section at the track i ride at pretty much rip the bars out of my hands. also there are a lot of tight turns. will this make handling worse or harder or affect it? How hard is it to install. What are some that u would recommend and where can i buy it. Thanks

dampners are good for any kind of riding or racing..you won't regret buying it. Install time is about 30 minutes,,lots of trial and error when mounting one...quadshop has them in stock last I seen...:blah

Obviously half of it goes on the stem, but where do you bolt the rest of it to?

On a tight track just change the settings to be a little softer. I suggest getting one and getting used to it before race season. It is really worth it. Mine was $170 or so from the Quadshop.

Denton all the way! Youll like the way your quad will ride. It dose take out all the little bumps in your handle bars. Really nice at high speeds!

Quadshop has them for $159 too, but I don't think it includes the 5% discount for exriders. Look under the "products" on the side.

If you get a PEP make sure you get the new style. The old style isn't rebuildable, and I blew one out.
There is PEP, Denton Steel and Denton Alloy (the Steel is non-rebuildable, again, dont buy), WER, Scott, White Brothers. The Scott and WER ones are the type you can find on street bikes and Desert bikes, they are expensive (around $400). I'd get a Denton Alloy. That's what I'm getting for my next damper.

Most places have the Denton's for $159 plus shipping.
