everyone likes their shocks different, best thing to do is set up your ride height, (do a search for ride height) once you get it set for your weight, you can start by clicking your compression way down, get it nice and soft, count the clicks and write it down, then ride a little bit, hit some of the largest jumps you can, and if you start bottoming out, stiffen it up some, its ok to bottom out a little on the largest jumps.

once you get that dialed in, start working on your rebound, you want it as quick as you can get it without bucking, so work it till it bucks a little, then back it down.

keep track of how many clicks each adjustment is, dont go from on to the other, just keep playing with it, make small adjustments and ride it, see how it reacts and whether you like it or not. its takes time and patience, and a good understanding of what the shocks are supposed to do to dial in suspension. good luck.
