400ex carb HELP!!!

I have a 2000 400ex FMF Mega Max II, Rev Box, K&N filter no lid on airbox. I was in Glamis 2 weekends ago and i went to change my main jet when I unscrewed the jet the barell came out as well.. So I put it back together and now it runs like S@$%.. I there something that goes on top of the barell to not allow too much fuel to get into the carb? Seems to be getting too much fuel now!!!

Hey I had almost the same thing happen to me a few weeks ago. It sounds to me like your needle jet fell out when u removed your main jet. That barrel you are referring to holds the needle jet in place. When ur airbox tube is off looking from the back u should see a brass guide lookin thing protuding up from the bottom where ur needle slides in and out. Thats ur needle jet I'm almost positive thats whats missing. Let me know what u come up with bro. Later...
