Garrett Turbo kit??? ne 1

Has any one had any experience with this kit. It looks fairly complete and i know garrett from first had experience is quailty stuff.

thats alsome but way overpriced 2 grand would be a fair price, for 4 grand u could buy a new quad...

Yes, but everything comes with the kit down to the last bolt. Hey, and look, it's on sale for $300 off, ha! But that's a lot for a quad. My Mustang Kenne Bell supercharger kit was only a thousand more than that.

But, you'd have a quad that would blow away any other quad on the planet, or at least 99.99% of them.

Yea, for that price everything better be included. For that price you can buy a turbo kit with fuel injectors, reprog software, and a really high quality turbo kit for a car.

For that price and the price you originally paid for the four wheeler you could go out and get a brand new 700xx or a Raptor 700. It might not be as fast stock as a turbo'd 400ex but i'm sure the reliability/drivabilty would be so much greater. 4k is kinda steep for what you're getting. I'm sure you could fab up a system that you could use for less than half that.

I looked at buying that kit when it was only $1500. Then it went to $2000 and I said thats a lot of money for it. Then the kit jumped to $4000 which is rediculous!

I wonder what kind of power you would see with a stroker kit... like a 460.... with turbos are you better off with low compression?

and like mentioned..u could have another quad for that price..

for the hp made u could fully build ur quad do susp. etc and have a faster bike..

how come it says 52 HP on the site but on the dyno link it doesnt go above 45 HP

its called marketing.... its est. 52hp and im sure they are going by crank hp or uncorrected hp....instead of SAE corrected whp which is what the dyno is showing

thats a lot of marketing. adding like 15% to the actual hp seems like an unreasonable stretch. oh what this world is coming to
