So i just recently sold my 250 and picked up a 400, it has a dg full exhaust and k&n with outerwear. So i checked the jetting and its 148 and 38 which is stock i believe. Is it very bad to drive it like this? Also what jets should i get? Thanks

what i would do is go buy a jet kit and play around a bit and see where it performs the best

it wont hurt it to run it like that a few times but I would deffinately buy some jets otherwise you will wear stuff out from the heat. I ran a E-Series slip on and it ran decent not being jetted but I only went riding with it maybe 3 times or so, no damage done.

i would get on dg's site and look for what they recommend for your model with a full exhaust. i run a 40 main and a 160 pilot

i would do this also, but you also have to keep in mind that it may not be exact, you may have to still play with the jet size.

On their site they say to increase the main one size up. So would that be a 150? Also you think i have to touch the pilot or can i leave it at 38?

you have your jets mixed up. the stock main is 148 and the pilot is 38. so up one on the main would be 150, but i would recommend going a little higher than that. maybe get a couple jets from 150-160 or so. i would also go to a 40 pilot. you can get jets pretty cheap at jetsrus.com

I just put in a 155 main and a 42 pilot works good
