The difference is in the cross-sectional shape of the paddle blades.

In this image the two blades are not to the same scale so the Hauler blade looks smaller. But they are both 7/8" tall and 11" long. The part to notice is the difference in their cross-section. Extremes have thicker blades as they taper down to the tire carcass. That makes them stronger and less prone to deflecting backwards when they're laying down power. Less blade deflection allows extremes a bit more traction/bite than Haulers. Some will say an 8 paddle Hauler has about the same traction as an 7 paddle Extreme even though the blades aren't any taller. Blade deflection makes the difference.

One in not necessarily superior to the other. It kinda depends on what qualities you value the most, IMO.

thank you soooooooooooo much, I thought the extreme was hauler extreme, then they sent me scate track extreme, so i think im ok
