they are way too wide to handle worth anything. how you plan on making the quad longer so its even close to being proportional length vs. width? or are you not going to do anything so the quad will loop around every time you turn the bars? sounds like a cool set up if you like doing donuts the a-arms are only +1 foward so your going to put some overly long swingarm on it? that makes your front vs. rear way too off so now you have a quad with a horrible weight bias also. wider is only better if you have the correct proportions everywhere else to match it. not to mention thier doesnt seem to be 1 gusset on the a-arms, and being that long, you'll need them because they are going to flex and eventually crack

if +6 was good, there would be a ton of them, there are two reasons only shadetree mechanics make ridiculous stuff like this

1. they really dont know much about steering and suspension geometry, otherwise they would know this is not a good set up for a lot of reasons

2. they are too wide to race anyway

How have they worked really well on national winning bikes when the width limit is fifty inches and these would put you well beyond that?

Pretty sure he's talking about the 90EX guys, not a freaking 400EX or 450R.

You add a foot to the 90EX and that'll make it, about 47 inches wide, not taking into account the extra width from switching to 400EX spindles/rims over the 90. So i imagine it would put you right at the limit.

Guy really should be clear on what his product is for...

Also, as far as saying how wide your a-arms are. Almost every single manufacturer says "+2 inches" or whatever on their a-arms meaning EACH side is 2 inches wider for a 4 inch over all. So saying +12 inches makes people think each one is.

The thread should probably be called "Honda 90EX +6 inch a-arms" and be in the MINI section...
