I felt Nothing , then again I am over 2000 miles away. I havnt had a good quake in many years in my areas of Calif. I hope everyone from here is fine (which at 5.2 they should be) and nobody had any damage to their homes/buildings. I know y'all out in the midwest dont have the same building standards as we do out west. Also a lot of the buildings are much older than what we have out here.

Terre Haute, IN here.

I don't know what time it was but it woke me up.

I thought it was thunder or something and I went right back to sleep. I was tired I guess because my GF said it shook the crap out of the house, but no damage here.

Im about 15miles away from where they were callin the epicenter and was shaken pretty good. Pictures and stuff were fallen off the dresser and the china cabinet took a good hit. I dont think there was any major damage around the area though.

I'm near Marietta Ohio and I felt it for sure. Sounded like when the washer is on the spin cycle and just a little out of balance. My closet doors were swaying and making some noise. I am a very light sleeper but it woke my 17 yo daughter up which really suprised me. She said her draw pulls wetre rattling on her dresser. That was a first for me!

yep i deffinately felt it here in south central indiana at about 5:40 am and then an aftershock when i was at school at about 11:15. it woke me up and at first i thought it might have been a tornado, but when i looked outside and saw nothing i figured that it must have been an earthquake or i was dreaming. i turned on the tv and they werent talking about it, then i went back to bed for like 10 minutes and sure enough when i turned the tv back on they were reporting an earthquake! i think it definately was a wierd feeling and i cant imagine what some of the ones that people experience on the west coast feel like.

I was soooooooo scarrred a lil pee came out! The cat's were freakin out. I immediately thought, u know i can not even imagine how bad that quake was in, was it 87' or 89' in cali right at the start of the world series. It had to be absoloutely crazy. :scary:

craziest thing ever. my dad woke up from having a dream he was in a earthquake at the same time the earthquake occured in the US. He had no clue at the time but he woke up ay 5:39AM and only to find out later there was an earthquake while watching the news in the morning and it happened the same time my dad woke up from having a dream he was in a earthquake. Thats pretty crazy

i didnt feel it, but my parents did, and a bunch of friends at school. i did wake up after it, i dont know it was the very end of the shake, or the low battery warning from my phone. but no damage here, most people just said their bed shook.

I live close to what i guess is called the 'central point' of the quake. I woke up with all the walls and shelves shaking. I was out in the dump truck during the aftershock so i guess i didnt feel that one.

I live about 5 minutes from this guy. The first one woke me up, and the second was really loud. Just knocked a few pictures down.

i'm about half an hour from the epicenter at eastern illinois university and i woke up to look outside only to realize it wasn't storming and it was thunder. then i looked under my bed since i was still half asleep and had no clue what was going on. after i couldn't figure it out i was just like eh, whatever, my building is just gonna fall down...back to sleep. :o

I was in the top floor of a hotel in St. Louis and my bed shook like a mother!! Lasted for around 30 seconds, I had no idea what the heck was going on. Then, after 10AM there was an aftershock that shook the tv pretty good in my hotel room.

Man I had (and still have) strep throat and I was all doped up on codeine. I woke up, but seriously just thought i was halucinating or something. Man this blows, probably a once in a lifetime experience. Bloomington indiana, about 100 miles from the epicenter
