On the pull start models you can keep the pull start or get rid of it to lighten some rotating weight on the crank. On the electric start models you can have both also !

Yeah Mike thats what yours will look like.

The cases need to be split to install the kicker shaft and gears.
The clutch cover needs machining for the seal and there is also some additional machining that needs to be done for it to work properly. That being said Its not cheep, but what is on these things. If you want exact pricing give me a call.

Ok here's mine........ now all I need is for you to sell me one of those break petals so all I have to do is pay you and slide it on.

Charlie said I had to talk to you about the wiring....... but after looking at it tonight I think I got it........... it seams to be the same as the jog motor wiring I'm used to but the colors are different. I'll call you and go over it..... Charlie said to ground the natural switch wire coming out of the motor and he cut the pink there but I checked it and it's already grounded.......... so I believe I can just cut them at the motor......And the black with a white tracer coming out of the CDI........ on some CDI's it must be grounded to run and some you ground it to shut it off..... which one is it..... ?? The rest are not hard to figure out.... but I’ll run it by you when I get time.

If you ground Green (netural switch) motor can be started in gear. If you ground Pink, motor will think it's in fourth gear and cause rev limiter to work ( so don't ground Pink) the Black/White tracer goes to kill switch on handlebars. If you ground it this will stop motor from running.

10-4 buddy..... thanks... the pink is cut at the motor and I'm going to cut it at the cdi. I'm going to groung the green from the cdi and the nutural switch wire coming from the motor. And I'll use the black / white from cdi as the tether wire to shut it off.

Thanks

If it cut at one end that's all you need to do, I would tape up end that is cut. Just take wire off switch and ground wire. (You didn't need to ground switch, it makes a ground connection in Transmission when you put in netural)

Well I'm going to cut it out all together (pink). Now this wire coming out were the pink wire is...... is that the natural switch wire??? it's showing a circuit to ground with the motor in natural..... Can I just cut both wires off flush at the switch??? or just take the switch out and use a block of plate or something.

The netural and fourth gear switches are by the chain sprocket. One is pink the other is green. Yes it puts a ground in netural and if you put in gear will be open or a higher ohm's reading. The wires are just pushed thru a slot on switch, push spring toward motor and pull out wire. If you take out switches then you will have oile leak as they go into Transmission At least that's the way my 1996 TRX 90 was.

I got complete quad off e-bay for 350.00. Netural switch was broken, so it wouldn't start. Then we put 300ex front a arms and made brackets and made rear swingarm, used 300ex carrier and axle. Just made it to play on and for my grandson to ride.
