Are you talking about Engine Wise or Suspension/Steering wise?

I race a stock engine and a Pipe and Filter last year. I also ran a LSR Axle and Stock Front and Rear Shocks.

I had 19 inch Front tires and 20 inch rear tires.

Everything else was stock cept for Bars and nerf bars and bumper and that little stuff.

I ended up #2 in points and just about won every race but i couldn't make it to some races and that I how I ended up in
second.

Next year i will have a Spark Motor and Elka Shocks with Houser +2 A arms, 18 inch rear tires and 19 inch front tires.

And I will also be racing In the expert class next year as well.

I think it is different for everyone. Depending on the size/weight and height and all the phyisical features of a rider. I mean a little tiny guy is gonna benifit more from a wider quad cause their body weight doesn;t keep the quad on the ground as easy in corners.

I thinking 80% is rider 19% is Quad and 1% is mental retardation

12-03-2002, 12:37 PM

Racing is 90% Mental, the other half to three quarters is physical.

Walsh Race Craft chassis components, Elka, Axis, or PEP shocks, and a Sparks 2-stroke motor or a TC thumper motor. Those combos would make for a good racer.
