Best Clutch

so my clutch has recently been slipping alot, and it seems to be getting worse. i think i new one will be due shortly, and i'm wondering which is the best i can buy? what do you guys run? and whats the best for the money? thanks

I'd have to say OEM Honda (steel & fibers)clutches. SERIOUSLY.....

Stock plates are fine. I ran it for years with no problems but upgrading to a 8 plate kit is even better. Gt thunder makes one and so does sparks racing.

how much can i expect to pay for oem? i cant get service honda to work :confused:

My clutch is still good but I might be trying out the Tusk clutch kit soon. The reviews were great and the price can't be beat. Pay $1 more and you get the HD spring kit too. I've got a lot of time on my current set and I might be pushing it. I've had good luck with most tusk products I've tried.

I thought about the 8 plate but the 7 has worked plenty fine for me so far.

ive read good things about tusk on everything except their clutch kits and brake pads.. they were more mixed reviews. i think i'm going to be going with a hinson basket, and an ebc clutch kit very soon.

IDK about price, but I got the Barnett Dirt Digger Clutch in my 440, works GREAT. NO SLIPAGE AT ALL.

i ran a ebc clutch in my 416 engine and it was great and i have a tusk clutch in my 265r engine and have had no problums so far. the tusk clutch looked good and the r engine has about 5 more horse then the 416. i would say go for tusk! i like all there stuff and i know for a fact they have other companys make there stuff for them. i ordered tusk ss brake lines from rocky mountain and they are actualy galfer! they say galfer on the fittings and the pachage says tusk so i wouldn't doubt that there other stuff is made by other companys too.
