Sub and Amp question

First off i have:
1 visonic mono amp,1000 watt
1 mtx 10 inch, 800 watt 1.75" 4 ohms Single Voice Coils

im buying another mtx 10 inch becuase im building a box...

what i need to know from anyone with experience is can i hook these two subs to my mono amp?? i bought this amp a year ago at summitracing.. and i cant find it anywhere so i dont know muc about it...

If your amp is mono it is one channel, since it is only one channel one single sub hooked up would be at 4 ohms 1/2 watts-500 and two single voice coil subs would drop it to 2ohms and your amp would put out the true rating of 1000 watts at 2ohms.......So yes it will work and better than before!!!
