i am lookin to put a 350x motor in my 250x can i do it. how much more of an increase in top speed will i get and how much does it cost for a kit [if there is one] and if there is not where would i get a pipe? thanks for your time

Welcome to the club..

Power increase is almost double from the 250X motor to the 350X motor. 250X is only about 15.5 hp, while the 350X is like 28 hp. Top speed would depend on your gearing, etc..

Powroll makes a kit that allows you to just bolt the 350X motor in place that runs about $70 and they also make an exhaust for the conversion that runs about $465.

do i have to buy the exhaust conversion or can i put the 250x pipe on it?

You cant put the old one on. Thats why they have to custom make one. You maybe able to find someone that will make you a head pipe cheaper though.. :)

hey, i just made one with the help of a friend. go to the post..... under powertrain, custom exhaust. it is on the second page for now. i have some pis of my new exhaust. it is made from a 400ex stock head pipe. took about 5 hours to make. another 2hours to polish.:D btw the bend, or dent is for the kicker to clear. http://www.powroll.com/honda_atc_350x.htm that is the link to powroll.
