I had Sparks silencers on both my bikes when I got tested and ticketed at 104dB and 106dB in August. Dave Moore and I tested and built a silencer that took the 106dB bike down roughly 7dB with no powerloss.

We tested the silencer on his dB meter and it measured accutately to 106dB as well as ran numerous dyno runs to determine how we could tune it with minimal loss of power.

Legalizer (http://www.davemooreracing.com/leglizer.html)

The Honda silencer was the first one we did and. Carbon fiber, billet end peice fittings and 1 set screw for each for easy repacking. I run a flush mounted end cone on mine and think it looks much better.

On my bike:

Give him a call and he'll set you straight.

FMF Q, it's quiet and usfs spark approved, my 250 motor tests at 92db and my 350pv tests at 94db. I ride at the michigan dunes and the rangers are sound nazis up there, I had to ask to be tested because they look at the silencer and wave me through every time:D . I tried the lrd silencer that came with my motor and could'nt tell any difference between the two other than noise.
