just wondering what you guys think about works shocks for all around riding? also what do you think about the 400ex front end swap? worth the time and money? can i just use 400 shocks on stock 300 a=arms?

Works shocks are "OK".

I bought mine before there were other choices however. Works or PeP was your choice.. lol. And I couldn't afford PeP and my stockers were snapped in half.. lol.

Honestly now days there's a lot better options for about the same price, however.

The 400ex swap is a good budget swap.

No you can't use the 400 shocks on 300 arms. The connection point is further out on the 400ex. The 300 would sit up too high. Also you need a shock relocator bracket for the upper shock mount.

DO a litle searching a TON of folks have done the 400ex conversion.

i also have a set of plus 2's my uncle used on his 250x/350x when he was pro. he gave them to me they are just stock arams with +2 added would the 400 shocks work with them he added two mounting holes so there would give me another inch or so so would that work. my mom is the parts manager at action motorsport in york pa so she can get discount on anything from tucker rocky and part unlimited.

from the mods ive seen with a shock relocator u should be able to run 400ex ,banchee ,or raptor 660 shocks maby someone else in this fourm can verify this info for you
