450r carb on a 400ex

i have a stock trx450r carb off my 04 and was wondering if anyone has installed one of these on a 400ex. my girl is wanting to up her motor so we bought a high comp 416 piston , curtis sparks x6 exhaust and some other odds and ends. And was wondering if the carb would help? and what you would need to make it work? thanks
