just picked up an '02 to mingle with, so i'm making it my own. i grew up on a snowmobile, and rode aggresive trails and jumped anything i could find... so i rode the motocross stand-up style, and had my bars real high. i want to bring the bars up on this EX now, as i bought it as a dune toy, to launch off the hills. i'm looking at Powermadd Rox risers:

they come in i believe 2", 3.5", and 5".

how high can the cables handle? it has renthal handlebars on it, that don't have much of a rise at all. or... are there cable extension kits available?

here's a pic showing the bars:

I to ride sleds and the stock bars on my ex are way to low..... I ride a 99x with about 5 inches of rise on the bars and they are about right. I would think just take off the bars and see how far you can go.

I am going to raise my bars soon as well.

x2. the brake line might be the biggest problem, stell braided lines are generally quite a bit longer

Like mentioned above, the brake lines are pretty short and I HIGHLY doubt they'd go up 5" or more.

You'd have to replace the brake lines, and probably the throttle and clutch cables as well.

They can just be replaced with a cable with the same ends and longer.

Looks like your rear sprocket is pretty short, might want to check you chain too.

Breaking a chain sucks:mad:

i got 3 inch risers on mine with low bars and they are just at the limit, a 4inch would be tight
