400ex swinger on 450r?

buddy of mine is thinking of selling of selling his 2003 400ex, and if he does, he is gonna make it mostly stock again. if he does sell, he is still undecided between the 450r and another, newer 400ex.

the questions are: will a swing arm and/or a arms from the 400 fit the 450r? will they fit onto a newer 400ex (05 and up)?

my buddy put a 400ex +1 1/2 lonestar swingarm on his 450 and the only problem was that the linkage was fatter. so he just grinded the swinger to fit it. and the a arms wont fit they dont even come close to matchin up.
